How do you ensure compliance with the Tax Administration Independent Contractor requirements as per January 2025?

My services are offered on a contract basis. The contract between myself and my client is drafted with details regarding the project or services to be provided. I utilize both social media platforms and this website to advertise my services. I provide my own computer and tools for the service I offer, unless security protocols require me to utilize your computer, details of which will be included in our service contract. I ensure that my earnings are derived from multiple sources. If you have concerns over the new legislation, please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss this further.

How is your Dutch?

I speak conversational Dutch, and understand Dutch well.

What do you mean by Separations and Integrations?

This is an interesting terminology, I do admit. What is meant by this is the Separation or Integration of 2 or more companies or businesses. In other words when a company is sold, I manage the separation process, and when a company is bought, I manage the integration process. These processes are complex as they involve all aspects of the business from IT systems to team structure. Significant thought and planning should always be applied, so as to ensure the ultimate success of either the separation or integration.

Why did you move from a CFO role to a Interim Contractor?

I worked as in Interim Contractor for almost 7 years before leaving South Africa. This is where I believe my strength lies, in solving problems, managing projects and supporting teams. After our move to the Netherlands in 2020 I knew that I needed to gain local market experience, and as such strategically joined KPMG to strengthen my M&A experience and then took a role as CFO at Seenons in order to gain experience in the Dutch Start-up world. Here I gain fund raising experience and a good understanding of the statutory and financial regulatory environment in the Netherlands. I have gained this experience over the past years and now once again wish to move back into my passion of doing interim work.
